1) New beginnings

Having got through Winter and finally been able to Spring clean your home it is the start of a new beginning.  Clearing out any old items that you don't need or use anymore and getting the garden furniture out from the back of the shed, tidying up the garden allowing plants to flourish again for the forthcoming year, pottering around in the greenhouse preparing the new crop because nothing tastes better than your own home grown fruit and veg.

Perhaps there other new beginnings: A new relationship, a baby, or a fresh start.  What is your new beginning and will it mean a house move?

2) Looking beautiful

You have done all the hard work and your garden and home are picture perfect and the Spring sun is helping make everything look beautiful.  The trees are coming in to blossom/leaf and the sun is pouring in from all angles.  You might be starting to fall back in love with your home again but you know it is time to sell.  So why not sell now when it looks it's best and beautiful.

3) Moving day

It is always a busy day when the time comes to moving but made a little easier when it is not raining.  Moving over the Spring/Summer season will give you a higher chance of having a sunny day or at least being dry. You can get to your new home and open up all the windows and doors to let that fresh warm air in to circulate - which can be important if your new home has been empty for a while. After a busy day, you can then start enjoying your new home, step out in the garden and open up a bottle of bubbly.

4) Summer time

Putting your home on the market in early Spring will hopefully mean that you move in the Summer months - great! This gives your a few more months to get the jobs done in in your new home before the Winter arrives.  If there is no work to do then that is even better.  You will have even more time to start enjoying your new home.  Get your family and friends around and the BBQ out and start making those new memories.

5) Flowers blooming

As more people put their homes on the market, more buyers join the search in finding their new home and the interest rises. Statistics show that homes sell 15% faster when they are listed between March and April than any other time of the year.  It doesn't always fall in to place but in theory, the busier the market, the faster you will find a buyer and the sooner you will move to your new home.   If you have been thinking of moving for a while, now is the perfect time to get going.

I would love to make Spring the start of your new beginning.
