Tips to help your home sell through Winter
#1 Get new photos taken to reflect the season. I see many property photographs that never get updated and it really does not reflect how the property is looking at that time. We will use 2 kinds of photography to give your home that distinctive look that stands out
• Lifestyle - These are photos that give a buyer an idea of how they could live and see themselves in your home. So by creating a lifestyle e.g lighting your real fire for winter marketing then our photographer can capture the cosy, warm feeling a home really is.
• Twilight - How amazing does a home look from the outside with the subtle lights on just as dusk falls. We will capture that image giving your buyers a stunning display of your home.
#2 Remove extra heaters for viewings and make sure they are not shown in photos. This may give the impression your heating is not good enough
#3 Create a cosy look and bring out the chunky knit throws, light the fire and put some seasonal candles on, Creating an ambience really works!
#4 Clear falling leaves from the garden and front driveway/pathway and fine tune those hanging baskets by removing dead flowers and replanting autumn/winter flowers. Keeping the outside tidy is just as important as the inside.
#5 Put your home on the market for a price that will sell. Check out the latest comparables, what have other homes like your sold for recently and does your home stand out from the rest.
#6 Contact your agent and speak to them about how to boost the interest in your home. We always keep in contact with our clients to make sure their homes are being marketed to the very best.
